Why willpower isn't enough

The apps are built to beat you

Crypto casinos and skin sites are built by teams of psychologists and data scientists to keep you depositing — instant, 24/7, one tap from your wallet. You're not weak. You're up against an industry engineered to make you lose.

24/7

Always open. No closing time, no friction, one tap away at 3 a.m. when you're least able to say no.

By design

Every game is tuned so the house wins over time. The near-misses and small payouts are engineered to keep you chasing.

Seconds

That's how fast a relapse starts. A blocker you can switch off in two clicks won't stop it. This one won't let you.

How it works

Two walls, not one

Most blockers are trivial to dodge. Just Stop blocks at the network level and inside your browser, so there's no easy way around it.

1

Install & sign in

One installer. It quietly runs in the background and starts protecting you at every login.

2

Blocked everywhere

A local DNS shield stops gambling sites in every app, and the browser extension blocks them instantly, even pages you already had open.

3

Make it stick

Seal categories for hours or weeks. Unlocking takes a brutal typing challenge or your ally's approval. Need to grab a bonus? There's a strict 2-minute window once a day instead of caving completely.

What's in the box

Built for the moment you're about to cave

Not just a blocklist. A system for the 2 a.m. urge, the "just one bet," the relapse you'll regret tomorrow.

Choosing how hard a category is to unlock Choosing how hard a category is to unlock
Make it stick

No quick off switch

When you block a category, you choose how hard it is to undo: a one-click confirm, a brutal type-the-wall challenge, or your ally's approval.

Pick the typing wall and unlocking means copying lines of random characters by hand, no paste. By the time you finish, the urge is usually gone.

Adding accountability allies Adding accountability allies
Accountability

Hand someone the key

Add a friend, your partner, anyone you trust. Set a category to "Accountability" and you can't unlock it on your own.

When you try, they get an email with Approve and Deny buttons. It stays locked until they say yes. The hardest moment isn't yours to face alone.

The money

Close the door on deposits

Blocking sites helps. Cutting off the money is what makes it stick. Just Stop writes ready-made self-exclusion requests for the services you fund with.

It targets the card or IBAN itself, not just an email you could swap. And your payment details never leave your device.

The Just Stop browser block page
In the browser

It stops you before the page loads

The browser extension blocks gambling sites instantly. No cached page, no sneaking through, no white flash of the site loading first.

Still owed a bonus? There's a strict 2-minute window, once a day, behind a 10-second hold. Long enough to claim what's yours, far too short to deposit.

Curated blocklists

Casinos, sportsbooks, crypto casinos, CS2 & skin gambling, Rust, mystery boxes. Hundreds of sites, updated as new ones appear, plus your own in a click.

See your progress

Your clean streak, every blocked attempt, and the sites that tempt you most. Synced across your devices.

Always on

Runs quietly from startup and blocks at the network level, so it's working in every app before you even open a browser.

Why I built this

I'm David. I'm 22. I lost about €10,000 to skin and crypto gambling — and built Just Stop so you don't have to.

I started opening CS:GO cases as a kid. I never thought anything of it — it was maybe €50 a month. Harmless, I told myself.

Two years later I opened my first account on CSGORoll. A few bucks at first. But within months the deposits got bigger, and I started losing any connection to what money even was.

It got bad enough that I was depositing through "pay in 30 days" — going into debt just to gamble more. We've all been up once. From there, it only goes downhill. By the end I was down about €10,000.

That's when I decided to stop — and that's why I built Just Stop. It's the blocker I wish I'd had at 2 a.m., aimed at the exact sites that pulled me under: the crypto casinos, the case sites, the skin gambling none of the old tools really covered.

Trust & privacy

We're on your side

A harm-reduction tool, not a data grab. Exactly how it treats you and your information.

Your bank details stay on your device

Card and IBAN info for payment self-exclusion never leaves your PC. It only fills the request you send yourself.

No ads, no selling data, ever

We store only what's needed to sync your blocklist across devices. You're the user, not the product.

Honest about what it changes

It runs as admin and routes DNS through a local shield so blocking works system-wide. Turn it off anytime and your internet keeps working.

Free, because this matters

The core blocker is free. We'd rather you quit than pay. Read our privacy policy →

Questions

Straight answers

Does it block Stake, crypto casinos and CS2 skin gambling?

Yes — that's exactly what it's built for. Just Stop ships curated, auto-updated lists for crypto casinos (Stake, Roobet, BC.Game…), CS2/CSGO & Rust skin gambling, case & mystery-box sites, and traditional sportsbooks & betting. New sites get added as they appear, and you can block any site yourself in one click.

Why does it need admin access?

So it can block gambling in every app on your PC, not just one browser. It points your computer's DNS at a filter that runs on your own machine — nothing about your browsing leaves your PC, your internet keeps working normally, and you can turn it off anytime.

Can't I just uninstall it when I want to gamble?

Not while a block is active. The uninstaller refuses to run until you turn protection off, which means waiting out your timer or getting your ally's approval first. The whole point is to stop the impulsive 2 a.m. decision, so we made that decision the hard one. If you're genuinely locked out, support can help.

Is it really free? What's the catch?

It's free, and the core blocker always will be. We don't run ads, sell data, or make money when you relapse. This was built by someone who needed it, not a company looking for subscribers.

What if I open a different browser or a second profile?

The desktop shield blocks gambling at the network level for every app on your PC. The browser extension covers your browser on top of that. If you open a browser without the extension while a block is on, Just Stop closes it.

Is my data safe?

Your card and IBAN details for self-exclusion never leave your computer. We store only your email and your blocklist, on EU servers, to sync across devices. No ads, no tracking, no selling data. See the privacy policy.

Does it work on Mac or my phone?

Windows first. Mac and mobile are on the roadmap. Join the list below and you'll be the first to know.
